Firstly a big thankyou out to all the celebs that have donated handprints for Tilly, keep 'em coming!
Maureen hodgins and all the funny farmers are a family run childcare service. they had a big party in their local village hall. The children took part in the nativity play, they had a big raffle, a bar and some food for the parents and grandparents. It was a fun afternoon for all but everyone worked very hard to raise £621.00 for tilly’s fund! thankyou so much!
A good night was had by all at Dan’s wrestling night at the civic centre in Consett. the money is still being counted but its roughly between £350-400.
'The Tilly Tubbies' was organised by Julie and Tony Gibson of Walker in Newcastle - Tony being one of the Tilly Tubbies and the post workers of Heaton Newcastle. They even took dance lessons for the big performance! The night raised £5500 (£500 of that came from the post office themselves and £2500 of that was given as an extremley kind donation) To follow, Julie has told her story in Pick me up magazine which will be out on 20th March. The story tells of how she got involved with fundraising for tilly and the night she organised! This raises an extra £350 for Tilly.
Royal Air Forces Association Wisbech branch has donated £100 for Tilly.
Weardale flower club held a Christmas raffle for Tilly and donated £100.00 into her fund.
Deborah Scott has sold her badges now raising £50 and has involved the Burtree pub in Darlington to help with Tilly’s fundraising. Thanks Deborah!
We are selling meningitis help tickets if anyone is interested. We really want to get the Immunosonic machines into NHS hospitals!

Ian Piggot (a massive Sunderland fan) raisied £1600 for Tilly by wearing a Newcastle shirt on derby day. Massive thanks go out to a very brave man!!! Apparently the shirt was on his back for an hour and he is still itching :-)

Parkside School where Adam (Tillys dad) works had a non uniform day where they had to wear yellow for Tilly - They raised over £900 due to throughtful extra donations.
Thankyou to the Lowdens of Burnopfield who the Lockeys met on Holiday for their kind donation. They didn't put a contact so we were unable to track them down. Hopefully they will check the website!!!
A massive thankyou goes out to Geannine Midgley from Gallery Hairdresses in Crook. She got her head shaved for Tilly and is still collecting in the money. Brave, brave girl!
Two students from WOLSINGHAM SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY COLLEGE got their hair cut for Tilly. Natalie Story age 13 and Robert Harrison age 18 raised more than £500 Another girl has just finished her sponsored silence and told me that she had been doing it for 3 days solid - over the weekend too. Bless you all! We can't thankyou enough!

Julie Gibson threw a birthday party for her dad and he asked for no presents just donations for Tilly. They even had a 'Give Tilly a Hand' cake made! Thanks goes out to Julie's dad - what a lovely gesture!
Alishia Clement - student of Parkside School - raised 1534.00 on a sponsored walk. She has also worked very hard bringing Tilly to everyones attention. Other fundraising events have stemed from this, such as a Karaoke competition raising £1000!
A 5-a-side tournament organised by Dug raised £325, thanks to the generous support of the players, their WAGs and Powerleague at Whalley Range High School, Manchester.
The winning team, Club Foot, captained by Matthew Cropper, won the competition on goal difference after thrashing Team Evil 12-1 in the final round. Congratulations to everyone involved.
Margaret Donald held her 70th Birthday party at The Crown. Rather than presents, she kindly asked for donations to be made to Tilly - thankyou Margaret!
The Crown Susan and Graham Clough. held a Halloween charity night for Tilly.
The Queens Head (John Sweaton and Ian Hawley) ran a Karaoke competition over 15 weeks with the Final held on 2nd October. All proceeds went to Tilly.
Tim Davis and Suzanne Cox completed the Great North Run for Tilly. Hannah Phillips also ran the Junior Great North Run. Great work guys!
Gateshead Utd's Paul Thompson very generously donated proceeds from his testimonial match towards Tilly's fund. Newcastle Utd supplied a team for the event, captained by Shola Ameobi and a great time was had by all!

The Royal Air Force Marham have approved sponsorship of £1000 for our appeal. The comittee has also agreed to match the total amount for Robs fundraising (excluding the initial grant of £1000) UP TO THE VALUE OF £2000.

Spark Response Limited have adopted The 'Give Tilly a Hand' appeal as their charity this year. At the moment they are selling Tilly Bear and Badges for us and will be involved in other events that we have throughout the year etc. by selling raffle tickets etc. for us.
Students at New College Durham have also adopted Tilly this year as their charity. I'm sure they will come up with great things to help raise money for Tilly!
The Derwent Manor Hotel in Allensford nr Consett Co. Durham has offered us a free venue for 2 events for Tilly. We are organising a Masquerade Ball for Tilly which is taking place on Friday 19th September. Formal Dress with Mask must be worn. We will be selling tickets for the event.
Also, on 9th Novemeber (Sunday afternoon) we are holding a childrens fashion show. We are appealing to children clothing stores to donate some clothing for our fashion show to raise money for Tilly.
