Doreen Edwards sadly passed away on the 12th July 2008. Doreen had been raising funds for Tilly, so her family asked for donations rather than flowers at the funeral, raising an astonishing £962.00!!! Huge thanks to Sue and all of Doreens family.

Maureen Hodgins and all the funny farmers are a family run childcare service. They had a big party in their local village hall. The children took part in the nativity play, they had a big raffle, a bar and some food raising £621.

A good night was had by all at Dan’s wrestling night at the civic centre in Consett. the money is still being counted but its roughly between £350-400.

Weardale flower club held a Christmas raffle for Tilly and donated £100 into her fund.

Deborah Scott has sold her badges now raising £50 and has involved the Burtree pub in Darlington to help with Tilly’s fundraising. Thanks Deborah!

We are selling meningitis help tickets if anyone is interested. We really want to get the Immunosonic machines into NHS hospitals!

Parkside School where Adam (Tillys dad) worked had a non uniform day where they had to wear yellow for Tilly. They raised over £900 due to throughtful extra donations.

Thankyou to the Lowdens of Burnopfield who the Lockeys met on Holiday for their kind donation. They didn't put a contact so we were unable to track them down. Hopefully they will check the website!!!

A massive thankyou goes out to Geannine Midgley from Gallery Hairdresses in Crook. She got her head shaved for Tilly and is still collecting in the money. Brave, brave girl!

Two students got their hair cut for Tilly. Natalie Story age 13 and Robert Harrison age 18 raised more than £500 Another girl has just finished her sponsored silence and told me that she had been doing it for 3 days solid - over the weekend too!

Romag Limited (Glass specialist) in Leadgate Industrial Estate raised money by making glass football replica shirts for their staff to buy.

Gemma Davis and the 'Little Gems' Dance school in Cramlington donated the money that they made from their show to Tilly. Thankyou so much it is very kind of you. (£300)

Huge thanks to Jane Hutchinson and the girls who took part in the pub crawl, in Crook County Durham - raising Just under £900 for Tilly! They are gonna have another Pub crawl in Consett soon - any excuse! :-)

Julie Gibson threw a birthday party for her dad and he asked for no presents just donations for Tilly. They even had a 'Give Tilly a Hand' cake made! Thanks goes out to Julie's dad - what a lovely gesture!

Alishia Clement raised £1534 on a sponsored walk. She has also worked very hard bringing Tilly to everyones attention. Other fundraising events have stemed from this, such as a Karaoke competition raising £1000!

A 5-a-side tournament organised by Dug raised £325, thanks to the generous support of the players, their WAGs and Powerleague at Whalley Range High School, Manchester.

The winning team, Club Foot, were captained by Matthew Cropper.

Margaret Donald held her 70th Birthday party at The Crown. Rather than presents, she kindly asked for donations to be made to Tilly - thankyou Margaret!

The Crown Susan and Graham Clough. held a Halloween charity night for Tilly.

The Queens Head (John Sweaton and Ian Hawley) ran a Karaoke competition over 15 weeks with the Final held on 2nd October. All proceeds went to Tilly.

Tim Davis and Suzanne Cox completed the Great North Run for Tilly. Hannah Phillips also ran the Junior Great North Run. Great work guys!

Gateshead Utd's Paul Thompson very generously donated proceeds from his testimonial match towards Tilly's fund. Newcastle Utd supplied a team for the event, captained by Shola Ameobi and a great time was had by all!

Local Schools ran 'uniform free' days, raising almost £3000!

Cathleen Robinson has now done her Noth East Walk, over £200 raised!

Home Buyers North East are giving £10 to Tilly for every house that they let. They are also doing a sponsored run!

Thankyou to all the children at St Bedes School who have been buying badges from Tilly's cousin Brandon Hicks. Also a big thanks goes to all the children who gave donations to Tilly.

Numerous coffee mornings have taken place, including one which included an incredible anonymous £5000 donation!!!

Liz Hume, staff and children of The Grove School did an assembly for Tilly, cake stall and toy/book stall. They raised £400.

Ravensdene Lodge Hotel Lobley Hill - Themed night every month proceedings going to Tilly. The first event took place on 4th August and raised £440.

Race night raised £1700.

Badges are now being sold to raise money for Tilly, priced at £1.

Teachers (Chaz Hughes and Ian Stoker) from Parkside School Willington have just completed a C2C bike ride to raise money.

Pam Wallis from Middlesex held a plant stall and raised £115 for Tilly.
